Mansfield has a beautiful thriving downtown, illuminated by street lamps and tree-lined sidewalks. One of the three commons is host to community events; movie night, and arts & crafts fairs to name a few. One of the things Mansfield is famous for is The Xfinity Center, an outdoor amphitheater. The venue opened during the summer of 1986 with a capacity of 12,000. It was expanded after 2000 to 19,900; 7,000 reserved seats, 7,000 lawn seats, and 5,900 general admission seats. Also, just across the street on the Reservoir is The Mass Arts Center (formerly MMAS) provides a cultural home for artists, and audiences. Home of the Morini Art Gallery & The Academy at Mass Arts. Audiences come to The Mass Arts Center because they know they will see exceptional productions in the newly renovated 100-seat house of the Reservoir Stage for a fraction of the cost of a ticket in Boston or Providence. Lastly, Mansfield is located on the crossroads of Interstate 95 north & south and Interstate 495 East to West. A commuter Rail from Prov. RI to South Station in Boston. Even Bus transportation to Logan Airport.

#2 Trattoria della Nonna | 160 North Main Street, Mansfield

The Flannel Cow Creamery is Mansfield's only ice cream shop that makes its own homemade, fresh-from-the-cow frozen desserts! As a family-owned and operated business, they strive to provide their customers with top-quality dairy products and excellent customer service. Their techniques derived from coursework completed at Penn State's Creameries Program have helped them craft delicious flavors which you can't get anywhere else but here - utterly unique or not (we think so!).
