The members of the Kensington Real Estate Brokerage firm have selected the months of November & December as Caring & Sharing times. We had passionate debates over selecting just one deserving foundation.  Each presentation was eqaully compelling, so we decided to try and fill all of the needs presented this year. We will be having a Holiday Social in December and will be accepting business donations of products and services to help promote our community neighbors and raise funds for our named foundations.  Times are tough, but there are many ways to still give; Time, Talents or Treasures.  Please let the season of sharing touch your heart and do what you can to make a difference in someone's life.   We wish you all the Happiest of Holidays to you & yours!

 MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION is the nation’s largest wish-granting organization. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.  With nearly 25,000 volunteers they were able to grant the heartfelt wishes of 13,580 children in just 2010 alone. Everything they do is focuses on helping seriously ill children, they devote themselves to serving them first: More than 76 percent of each dollar we raise goes directly toward granting their wishes.

 OUR PERSONNAL CONNECTION to Make A Wish……. Our agent, Jen McMorran's daugther Zoe has a rare form of childhood brain cancer.  Make A Wish Foundation will be sending the family to Disney.  We'd like to thank Make A Wish Foundation and support them as they continue to help other families.  CHRISTMAS IS FOR KIDS is an all-volunteer run, gift-giving program that assists children in Attleboro, North Attleboro, Norton, Rehoboth and Seekonk who would otherwise go without a gift on Christmas Day. There is no paid staff and the Council For Children, Inc pays for costs such as printing, postage and phone expenses. All monetary donations are used in their entirety for gifts for these children. They have been able to assist over 1,000 children each year thanks to the support of the community and local businesses.

 THIS YEARS CHALLENGE –In past years Borders books has been a huge supporter of the program, with the closing on the store in our community this year the program will no longer receive the over 2000 books donated each year. Please consider donating a book or dontation for us to purchase a book on your behalf, over 70% of the children request books as a gift choice each holiday.

 TOYS FOR TOTS FOUNDATION is a program of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. The foundation collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Over its 18 year life span, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has supplemented local toy collections with more than 81.3 million toys valued at more than $487 million; plus has provided promotion and support materials valued at over $6.3 million. Kensington Real Estate Brokerage will be an offical drop off site for Toys For Tots.
